For the bride, makeup and hair together is $320. Makeup only is $170 and hair only is $160. Bridal party members are $280 each for makeup and hair, or $150 for a single service, and flower girls start at $80. Every quote is put together by Stefany herself, so the exact total depends on your services, your location and your date.
Yes. Stefany travels across Melbourne and Victoria to wherever you are getting ready - a home, a hotel room or an Airbnb. The travel fee is calculated automatically from the real driving distance from Essendon North at $2 per kilometre, and it is charged once for the whole booking, not per person. It is already included in the quote you receive.
As early as you can. Dates are first-come first-served and peak season in Melbourne runs from October to April, when Saturdays book out furthest ahead. Many brides secure their date twelve months out, but it is always worth asking about a closer date - if Stefany is already booked she may be able to arrange a trusted artist from her own network for you.
Send your enquiry through the site and Stefany reviews it personally, usually within 24 to 48 hours. If your date is available she sends your full quote with a link to pay a 20% deposit. Paying that deposit is what locks the date in - nothing holds it before then. The link stays valid for five days.
No. The 20% deposit is non-refundable because it reserves your date exclusively and turns away other enquiries for it. The one exception is if Stefany herself cannot attend because of a serious emergency and no replacement artist from her network can be arranged, in which case you are refunded in full, deposit included.
A trial is a full run of your wedding look before the day, so you can see it, photograph it and change anything you want with no time pressure. It is the same price as the service itself and it is a completely separate booking, with its own date and its own deposit - it is not included in the wedding day total. Trials are usually held two to three months before the wedding at Stefany's studio in Essendon North, where the lighting and conditions are best.
For the bride, makeup and hair together takes about 2.5 hours. Each bridal party member is about 2 hours for makeup and hair, and a trial session runs about 2.5 hours. Stefany works backwards from the time you need to be fully ready - usually when your photographer arrives - and builds the morning schedule around it.
Yes. Early starts are normal for a wedding morning and Stefany plans for them. A surcharge of $50 applies to arrivals before 6:30am, and a Sunday or Victorian public holiday adds $50.
Yes - bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, and flower girls. Larger groups are welcome: once a booking reaches a certain size Stefany brings a second artist so nobody is rushed and everyone is finished in time. You select each person and their service on the enquiry form.
Send the enquiry anyway. Stefany keeps a small circle of makeup artists she knows and trusts, and if she cannot take your date herself she may be able to arrange one of them for you. If she does, she emails you that artist's portfolio and Instagram first so you can see her work before deciding anything, and Stefany coordinates the details herself.
The remaining balance is paid on the day, by cash or bank transfer. Card payment is only ever used for the deposit that secures your date.
Yes. Special occasion hair and makeup is available in studio in Essendon North from $250, or mobile at your location. Stefany also works on editorial, commercial, film and TV projects, and offers a personal makeup lesson from $250 and a personal shopping session from $120.
The studio is in Essendon North in Melbourne's inner north-west, and Stefany travels on location across greater Melbourne and Victoria - including the CBD, the Yarra Valley, the Mornington Peninsula, Geelong and the Bellarine, and the Macedon and Dandenong Ranges.
Yes, and it costs nothing. There is a free 15-minute video call available Monday to Friday between 4pm and 7pm - you pick a time that is genuinely free on her calendar. It is a no-obligation conversation about your vision, your timings and whether she is the right fit for you.
